How do I register?
By clicking the red button above or by mailing a check and waiver. Day of race will also be allowed but discouraged, and at an additional cost, so we do not have long lines and delays. We benefit the American Legion Sea Cadets from Post 112.
How do I know I am registered? You will receive a receipt from active.com or have a cancelled check - this is proof.
When will I pickup my race packet? At the finish you will receive your Winner's Trophy and other free gifts from our sponsors. No pre-race packet.
Will I get a bib for timing? Yes, starting at about 6 am you can pickup your bib. This year we will have timing for each runner and report each person's name and time on our website, we will use a bar code on your bib or a paper bracelet around your wrist.
Is there a host hotel, pasta dinner, t-shirt?
No t-shirt or specific hotel, the closest hotels are 5 miles away in the downtown area (expensive) or on I-4 and Lee Road (economy). Not a Boston qualifier, but our race qualifies for Marathon Maniacs and 50 States Marathon Club.
Bathrooms, Water? many water fountains and bathroom stops are provided by the park department on Cady Way Trail. Port a Potties at the start. The American Legion Post will have 2 inside bathrooms too. Gatorade at the central stop which will be passed several times.
IPOD/stroller? At your own risk. May be bikes on the path.
Refunds? No, its a donation, but you can defer your entry to the next year if you are ill. No transfers to others. You can downgrade your distance, tell us by email so we will have your correct trophy.
Time limit? (not really) 7.5+ hours for all races. A course briefing will be 2 minutes before the start.
To be a sponsor? We will allow food, tents and tables for $75 at the start and finish, please contact us for details.
